About us
James Street Pentecostal Church is a Christian church
which means that we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, we trust in Him as our Saviour and follow Him as our Lord.
We believe the Bible is the infallible, authoritative word of God and that it
helps us understand who God is, what he has done for us and how we can have a relationship with him.
Being Pentecostal means that we believe God still empowers His people to be his
witnesses by filling them with His Holy Spirit and equipping them with spiritual gifts to glorify Jesus and build his Church.
A church is a group of ordinary people who have discovered the love of God
through faith in Jesus. We meet together to give glory to God through worship and to encourage and strengthen each other in our faith through prayer, testimony, spiritual gifts, preaching and
fellowship.
