James Street Church

Welcome to James Street Church in Coalville!

We are a Pentecostal Church encouraging all ages of people, with thriving services for families and a lively junior church, also held during the Sunday morning service. We are looking for people to join us to grow in Christ together.

"With God all things are possible" ~ (Matthew 19:26)

Prayer 2020:

  • We welcome the Hope Together initiative to pray on the 20th of each month at 20:20 for 20 minutes.
  • Here is a prayer from the prayer guide which you could pray on Monday 20th January.
  • "Father, as we start Prayer 2020, we ask that this year we will carry your light into every place we go and share your good news with those we meet. May we walk and work in unity to reveal your love and goodness (John 8:12)."
  • To find out more including a downloadable prayer guide for each month you can follow this link. Hope Together Prayer 2020

The Burning Bush:

  • Just as Moses was drawn aside from his ordinary life to have a powerful encounter with God. Why not take time out of your normal routinue to join with other Christians in Coalville on Saturday 8th February see what God is doing in this area and to pray for His Kingdom to break through even more.
  • The event will be at Marlborough Sq Methodist church with prayer stations set up from 11am - 3pm and a corparate celebration with prayer and worship at 3.30pm - 5pm.
  • Come to pray, come to worship and come to enjoy fellowship together. But, most of all come to take time out to encounter the living God.

Praying for the Nation:

  • We thank God for the progress towards greater parlimentary stability in our country while continuing to pray for God's kingdom to come in power and make this nation truly great.
  • Will you take some time out to pray for God's blessings to be poured out on our nation?
  • Let's pray for wisdom for our leaders, for social needs to be met, for the NHS to be strengthened and for unity between England, N. Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
  • Let's pray for a great spiritual awakening to come upon the nation and for revival to break out among God's people.
